Sometimes when I look at you,

I look deep within.

I see all those feelings that are locked away.

Those feelings you choose not to show.

I look in your eyes and see how you really feel.

Wanting you and me to be something that's real.

At times when we part and go our separate ways,

I see feelings that leave me feeling great for days.

Why you don't tell me what you feel I may never know,

But I definitely see something there that says more than you say.

Something that gives me hope and causes me to stay.

One day while you’re unaware I'll venture in deep,

Where you keep those feelings hidden,

And tucked away,

And find out those words you really wanted to say.

But from now until that day,

Your eyes will always show me the way.
