In The Outdoors
In a hall there will be a door
If you open you can explore
A cold dark winter or a sunny spring
In either one the trees will sing.
If in a meadow you'll lay in the grass
You'll hear the daisies wave and laugh
And if you sit up, wait, and stare
You might spot a rabbit or even a hare.
But there in my eyes you will see a stream
Bridges, flowers like a dream
There full of peace and not much fear
But maybe they might shed a tear.
And once you've explored all of these things
You might just love, what the outdoors brings.
